Nude massage

I enjoy being nude and I enjoy getting a massage. The trouble is putting the two tegether. In Calgary like most places, legitimate RMTs are required to provide draping for their clients. I have had a full body nude massage in the past(not here) and it was fantastic. I would like to find a therapist that would do this. at least nude while I am face down. I have asked at several places some said no the others were ready to string me up. any sugesstions?

1. We also enjoy nude massages with draping but cannot find a mobile massage therapist that is willing to do this right off the bat. I had a mobile massage therapist come to our home and give me a massage and I asked her this; Is there female (my wife prefers) therapists that she knows that are comfortable with giving their husband/wife clients a non draped, nude massage. Her answer was what I expected. She stated that once a massage therapist gets to know their clients, this is something that the therapist and the client work out between themselves. There are laws prohibiting nude, undraped massages and they risk their license if they break these laws. Once the therapist knows the client and establishes a bond of thrust, she knows for a fact that full nude, undraped massage take place. She also stated that she preformes them on several of her closest clients that she's had for many years. She said that after meeting my wife and getting to know us better, she'd be comfortable with doing this for us. I didn't care for her technique and the fact that she used lotion instead of oil. I guess that's why we haven't had her back since. I would hate to have to wait for years to build a bond between my massage therapist and my wife and I so we could get a nude massage at home but if that's what it took, I guess I'd be willing to work on that relationship to be able to do so. I should have been a bit more willing to work with this massage therapist and get her to use oil and try a different technique and build a relationship with her. After all, she did state that she'd be willing to do nude massages in our home for both of us.
2. Similar draping requirements exist in most states, making nude massage by a licensed massage therapist a bit problematic. For those of you who want a Do-It-Yourself solution, here's what we did. This might not be available everywhere, but a local massage school offers an "Intro to Massage" course one evening a week for six weeks. It didn't turn us into pro quality LMT's, but Madame and I can give each other (and selected guests) a more than adequate massage. We enjoyed it enough to go out and buy a proper massage table. I would think that other massage schools offer similar Intro programs. It's worth looking into. Doc
3. Friends, There is a difference between having to "provide" draping, and acceptance by the client. Your MT may not be aware that in some states it's optional as long as it's offered. (But unfortunately, this is not the rule.)The time necessary to develop a relationship with a MT is probably much shorter than you might think as long as you behave on the table. Also, the choice of lubricant is almost entirely up to the client. Just ask. Briar' CMT
4. From doing a bit of research. I found that in a lot of locations it is not a legal but more of an ethical issue. And as briarabbit says it's how comfortable the therapist and/or the client is. I wish therapists would be more open to the option. Although I do understand they need to be carefull and can't give the wrong impression. I have had massages in the past where the therapist has moved the draping below or above the buttocks to massage glutes. Why waste the time to cover at all?
5. i have a question, how would you approach a therapest? i try to get massages regularly. i love my therapist and she was a close friend before she was my therapist. when i showed up for my first massage, she asked me to take off everything but my underwear (i was a little surprised). Do you think the fact that we were friends first is affecting that?
6. You just have to ask. Does she know you are a nudist? On your first session she asked that you wear your underwear. Do you still do that? Start by asking if it's ok to be nude and covered with just a towel. If she says no you know where you stand. If she says it's okay tell her you are comfortable with even less
7. It is quite common to be told to disrobe to your underwear. Actually, "to your level of comfort". If you prefer to be nude (under the draping), it should not be a problem. Doing without draping is rare given the restrictions of state law and professional organizations. But, if your therapist is a nudist, well, nobody knows what goes on.... Regarding erections, don't not get a massage because you might get a erection. As long as you do nothing to make it occur, most MT's will just add a towel over the area for your comfort, or roll you over prone. If however a client is rubbing themselves or squirming in the prone position, well, your session will likely be short and you won't be rescheduled. So relax and enjoy. Briar' CMT
8. I had one of the best massages in quite some time last month. While the MT was adjusting the drape, I simply suggested that the drape was entirely her option as I would be happy either way (it was my first massage with her). She confirmed that I was ok with the nude massage and withdrew the drape. I agree that the difference is significant. I would have raved about the massage even if she had kept the drape, but not having to stop in strategic areas of the gluts to reposition the drape was a plus. "Wearing nothing is devine, naked is a state of mind."
9. That was the first question I asked years ago after I got my first massage. I actually went back the next day for another, because I had created so much tension for myself trying not to get one, that the massage was virtually useless. I asked whether it was OK/normal or not and was told that it is not only OK and normal, but it is also the usual reaction. The massage the next day was one of the best in my life. As for being covered, neither those times, in MA, nor the once a month that I went in CT, was I ever covered. I was given the option and chose naked.
10. I have been practicing massage since 1990, I received my massotherapy license late in 1991. When I went through a divorce my ex did not forward my mail and I lost my license due to unpaid dues. I always ask my clients to remove all that they are comfortable with, the more removed (clothes wise) the better the massage will ultimately be... restrictions in moves due to hitting or going around clothing, unable to give a FULL body massage etc. I taught "massage for relaxation" at a local adult continuing education school. People loved it! I always asked and if they were willing I would do the massage for them completely nude. So much better. I would zone out, mind and spirit. The music and touch would take me away. the time flew by so quickly that often I would end up giveing a full body massage for an hour and 20 minutes. Often I would have to wake my clients to "turn". I wouldn't be too light or too hard and each person would become extremely relaxed. Often my class students would hire me to come to their homes to give massages. And even then I would request the least amount of clothing. Since I no longer have a "State license" they cannot take away my license and people will wear what they want and are comfortable wearing (or not). 11. Just wanted to give y'all an update. I'm no longer going to that clinic on Fourth Street. As we've had disagreement over my choice of a service animal. As it would appear that they only recognize traditional service animals as a service animal. Long story short, I have filed a complaint with the ADA, and will neither go back, nor recommend them to anyone else. I have found another clinic where the people are nice, and friendly and they have no problems with my service animal. They also have showers for the clients to use, which in my case is a plus, given that I ride a bike for transportation and they're a "little "further away form my home and I tend to work up a "good" sweat rather easily. Also from the first visit the drape was a much smaller towel, instead of the much larger and all covering sheet/blanket covering of the other place. As well as the drape being "just" a towel, in chatting with the therapist after the shower and before the massage began we chatted briefly and the topic of nudism came up, as I'd mentioned that I wished it wasn't so far (at least by bicycle) to Paradise Lakes or any of the other nudist/c.o. Resorts/clubs. As well as the lack of same in St. Pete. From there naturally the topic of nudity during the massage also came up. I told her that if she was comfortable doing the massage sans draping, that I was as well. She thanked me and said that it would make things easier on her. And that for massaging my back she didn't need the towel and again it would be easier for to do her job. She did say though that when it came time for me to roll over on my back she would use the towel until she got to know me better. Which is totally understandable, but when it came time for me to flip over she didn't bother with the towel saying that I behaved like a gentleman during the first part of the massage. And as such she didn't feel the need to use it at all. Herman
12. My wife and I both prefer being massaged without draping. The movement and tucking of a sheet or towel detracts from the relaxation. We both go to therapists of the opposite gender, and we have found the greatest majority have no issue doing the massage without draping, esp. when they know you want a good massage only. My wife traded massage with one of her therapists every week for a few years and he and she were both nude. I did the same mine, she and I both nude. Legitimate massage is very beneficial, and I do not believe most people have a draping issue when the only desire is a good massage.
13. I get a massage every couple of weeks or so. When I started and was told to get undressed and lay under the towel on by stomach, I mentioned that I was comfortable being nude if shw was. She said fine, but her style is to cover the entire body with 5 or 6 towels and remove the one covering the area she is working on. She would pick up the towels covering my back and buttocks in front of her when she had me roll over to my back. Once when she was re-arranging the towel on my back to cover just the sice she wsn't working on, I mentioned that I didn't need covers if she could work better without them. She never even acknowledged that I said anything. So I guess she is not at all ok with an uncovered massage and I am not going to suggest it again, since she does a really good job of digging into my knotted up muscles.
